What it does

Select a time such as “3pm PST”, “9 pm Beijing time” or “tomorrow 10:00 London time” and see it in the cities you use, with the date and whether it’s a day earlier or later.

Each city has a 24-hour bar, so you can see whether it’s working hours or the middle of the night there.

Drag the slider to try other times. When everyone listed is between 9:00 and 18:00 is worked out for you: one click jumps there.

PST, EST and similar abbreviations follow local daylight saving time even when written as standard time, with a note saying so. A time without a day means the next one.

With nothing selected, see what time it is everywhere now. Add cities by name, pinyin initials, English name or abbreviation, and copy all the times at once.

Install it

Plugins aren’t part of the Pop download. Install this one when you need it.

1From Settings

In Pop’s Settings › Actions, find “Time Zones” under Plugins at the top and click Install. It downloads from Pop’s GitHub release in a few seconds and works right away, without a restart.

2Or from the ring

Open All Actions on the ring and search for “Time Zones”. Plugins that aren’t installed are listed after your actions: click it to install, and it runs right away if it can handle what you selected.

3Then use it your way

Put it on the ring in Settings › Ring, give it a shortcut, or run it from Shortcuts and scripts with its link:

pop://run?plugin=worldTime

Uninstall it from the same list when you no longer need it: the plugin and its settings are deleted. After Pop updates, installed plugins are updated with it, and with iCloud sync on, what you install syncs to your other Macs.
